Valver rims on a 172

has anyone done this? im getting a little bord of me 16" f1s but might get some old valver wheels and refurb them in matt black myself and slam it on coilies then rotate wheels unless some1 comes up with a good swap deal?!

alright mate sweet. i love the rims i have at mo but got bord need somethign diff for a while but not sure what summit old skool that i can reurb myself and not cost too much

mk1 r19 turbines( not mk1 clio turbines different) look mint in anthracite with no caps on ph2 facelift 172/182's otherwise forget it imo, they dont quite look rite on ph1's.

Hi Jon, Would you be interested in a set of 17" Antracite OZ Superleggeras?

There is a ph1 on here with silver Willy wheels and sitting very low. It was at FCS 2007 and looks gret. Personnally one of my favourite wheels is the Valve mk1 turbines, especially hen polished. I've got photoes of both somewhere I'll see if I can find them.

no to the phase2 wheels, they weigh a tone and they look gay on anything other than a standard mint valver..

as people have said how about some turbines, i would say the clio turbines rather than the r19's i have had both and the clio turb's are far better looking and you can do so much more with them
