Valver So Far!!

  Suzuki SV1000S
Ok so has got Gas shocks and is bloody low and impractical lol.

Wheels are purchased.

Stripped out and buckets harnesses etc fitted.

Roll cage being built in Italy so on its way.

Steering wheel fitted (bloody small lol)

What next:
Exhaust or IK - Not sure if I need IK though really as sounds pretty mad as it is!!

the best for peformance is ment to be the OE airbox with a panel inside it, so on that keep the original airbox and get yourself a nice exhaust...

ps.car sounds like it's coming on nice

Slagtastic, loking forward to some pics!

Exhaust mate defo! IK will loose u power! best option is ITG panel filter in standard airbox, tehn cold air feed to fog hole or something!

  Suzuki SV1000S
Is the ITG Panel filter the best one - If so I will grab one.

So exhaust sytem wise - Am I worth getting Maifold back straight through or will I lose back pressure with these cars, Don't want to keep the g*y Cat thats for sure so will be manifold back straight through or should I get the manifold done too??

  Suzuki SV1000S
Is it worth having a 4-2-1 manifold hand made or can I get one from another model.

Also what do I have now is it just 4-1?

And where is the best lpace to the ITG panel from.

  Suzuki SV1000S
Also It is really a panel filter is it? Thought they were round on the valvers, box looks round anyway - Does £31.75 sound about right or can I get it even cheaper than that?

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT
sounds a good price mate! i paid about same on my old un!

manifold is a supersprint one! very little gains fo the £££ though IMO! iv had 2 now! sound nicer tho!

  Suzuki SV1000S
Yeah, Well had alot of £££ spare to spend on the valver after selling the 172 - So gotta do it eh!!

Think I will just get a manifold back system them guys cheers - A nice hand made lovely..

  Suzuki SV1000S
I had a 5GTT for 6 months but then the engine caught on fire. Then I bought a Clio RT and sold it for a newer one but the gearbox blow up lol! Then I bought a volvo lol, thank god as would be dead otherwise, managed to uproat an oak tree...

Then I bought a new 1.2 16v and kitted it out with subs and bodykit (glad I got that out of my system.

Then I bought a 172 Cup and wrote it off after 700miles (car had only done 700miles) faulty steering rack or electrics or something (honest gov)

Then I went to buy another one test drove a mk1 172 at the same time, Loved it and decided to spend my money on a mint one of those instead. So spend 9k on a mk1 172 with minimal mileage and loved it, Was faster and handled better than the cup. Lasted me for about 2 years and got 189bhp out of her..

Now I am going back to old school - Seem to get more fun out of the older cars, More raw= More fun!!

  Suzuki SV1000S
Don't bother dude - Handling on the mk2 clios is nothing like the valvers IMO - Just get Nick to give you a nice 172 engine transplant next year....

OH! Now the sunroof, Alarm, Interior light and the Stereo works - Why I love this club for sure!!

Also Bryan & Raj came round and gave me a new key unit and alarm unit so the blip key works now woohoo and a nice new mk2 grill. - Car progressing well

Ah and the new wheels arrived so all sorted (for now) until the roll cage arrives (when it is finished being built) - Except Carbon Bonnet loveliness and a straight through exhaust!!

sounds nice george

na i thought my valver was getting through the twisties better than the 172's and 182's on the weekend...yeah really want more straight line power if poss though...

  Suzuki SV1000S
Wait till next year dude and see what sort of price Nick is talking about - I shall be investigating possibilities before Le Mans next year for straight line speed so I will do some posts later on when I know the diff options.

Is a place near my house in oxfordshire called Btec and they can do anything you want really so will see what they can get from throttle bodies etc.

They have a 0.9litre nova that has 120bhp and weighs nothing - Flys

  Suzuki SV1000S

  Suzuki SV1000S

dude im getting excited seeing this beast now, i think im gonna follow in your footsteps and sell the cup and get a valver, on the cards at the mo is a valver, williams or 5gtt

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT
if u can, then get a hybrid! the 2.0 is much better, and that way you dont have to modify a williams!

ooooo!

But isn't the 172 engine alot heavier than an f7?

  Suzuki SV1000S
172 engine is the same as the 182 engine, Just doesn't have the same manifold.

How about the megane turbo rngine or is that just tooo big

  Suzuki SV1000S
Me too matey - Not into turbo's really. Would rather have a nice V8 - Don't think that would fit an a clio though lol.

What kind of increase do you get on a 1.8 with throttle bodies?? As that would produce a lovely sound I'm sure.
