valver sunroof leaking

just wandered if there were any common problems with valver electric sunroofs. mines only just started to leak ( absoloutly pissed on me ) in this nasty rainy weather. i took the centre console out by the sunroof/light controles etc and its stuffed with blue paper so im asuming theres a problem somewere.

It's a common problem, tighten up the radio aeriel on the roof first off & then see if it still does it.

Need to strip it down and replace the seals realy but most people just seal them shut with bathroom sealant and disconnect the motor as its easier and won't leak.

well f**k that. i like my posh sunroof why bother sealing it :S seems like a silly thing to do. are the seals expensive ?? its not leaking in round the suroof though :S it only comes in around the LED for the alarm and the keyfob reciever area. :S

mine leaked, took sunroof out, resealed and then it was fine for a year, then it started leaking again.

re-sealed ? as in bought new seal kit... or just used bathroom sealer or sumthing ?? haha

Do what I said first off, then go from there - if necessary do it, get in the car & get someone to pour some water over the sunroof area, if it still leaks do what the others said.

silicone sealer. all it is on the clios is a small thin like gasket, piss poor tbh
