Valver warning light help. . .

Anyone help?

The immobiliser warning light flashes when revs are at idle or below 2K, but goes out above 2K. The manual says its either an immobiliser or ignition fault. Still have the factory alarm fitted but will be getting a Clifford soon so hope its the former. Although judging by the revs link its probably the latter.

Which light is this ? The one near the steering wheel (LED style) or the one on the central locking bit ? Seems really weird that its related to RPM are u sure its not realted to time ?? eg goes off after 2 mins or summit ?

The light is under the ABS light on the dash display. . . looks like a heart monitor sign. Doesnt go out no matter how long either. . . just flashes UNLESS over 2K revs!

thats not the immobilser signal. Is it orange right? think its to do with the ignition. not sure exactly what tho, sorry

Yeah thats the one. . . In the manual it says its for the immobilser/ignition. So maybe the immoliser is not working properly as it must be linked to the ignition? I dunno. . .!

Get it to the Garage... im sure they will tell you straight away... i had a problem similar and they had a handbook of fault codes / lights meanings...

I know it was a long time ago, but did you get this sorted? a mate of mine has the same problem.

Did the car actually cut out with this fault?
