How do I transfer something which is on VCR to my computer? I guess I would have to have video out on my video player, but is there an easier way to do this? :S

PC video inputs are normally phono.. so just get a scart to phono and convert the 2 audio phonos to 3.5mm jack.. make sure you have a capture card in your pc.. job done.

You'll most likely have a video out on your vcr , its your scart connector , the one that goes to your tv . Then you'll need something like an s/video plug that goes into the scart connector .

Then it will depend on what input you have on your pc .

I did it the long winded way . I have video in on my digital camcorder so recorded a video off the vcr onto the camcorder , then from my camcorder to pc using windows movie maker , then converted it to a dvd . Like i said , it was a bit long winded , but i only wanted to do one video so time wasn't really an issue . Don't forget , all the transfer od the video will be in real time .
