Vehicle not used for 5 weeks, now oil light on

I've been away for a while and started the car for the first time this morning. As I drove off the oil and stop lights came on.

There is plenty of oil in the engine and it was serviced about 4 months ago.

Is this just a consequence of the car doing nothing for a while and do I need to run the engine for a bit to get all the parts moving again?

It could be the oil pressure sensor I suppose, but I'm not sure how best to diagnose it.

Any help much appreciated.

This happend to me, all i did was replace the sensor then everything was fine. Cost me bout £8.50 ish.
When i undid the electrical connector to the sensor there was a small amount of oil that had found its way through the sensor somehow.
The sensor was so badly corroded that the end of it just fell off when i tried to undo it, lucky this just left the nut part of it so that i could still get it out.
