Do you give it some stick? my 1.4 gets 240 from £30, which is how much I filled up last time and the petrol light is on now at around 236 miles over bumps so say I can take it to 250 miles from £30 quid.
Thats in and around town no fast roads, with sub in boot always on. But I cant afford to drive like a looney so I'm in 5th as quick as possible, fast accelo (well okay as fast as it can do) upto about 3k revs.
But then again for a 1.4 mines not even good, compaired to my old Fiesta.
Nope dont really give it much stick, dont see the point in a 1.2!
When I got it, it returned bout 300 miles 2 £30, been driving my mums Ford Ka and it returns over 300 miles for £30 which is really good, but then again you do get laughed at everywhere you go lol
To be honest it's a grey area, some of the 16v's on here could probably beat our MPG's. obviously the condition and when the car was last serviced is a big factor in it.
