Black 172
As some of you may know i have had a handling problem with my 172, although its my baby it was starting to annoy me with the problems. To cut a long story short i had found out my 172 needed a new axel ( I have no idea how its come about to be damaged i have never had a bump in it) new rear shockers ( as one was leaking) a new hazard light switch as mine hasnt been working for ages and i had a bit of paper holding it in so it wouldnt just randomly start flashing.
Basically my car was handling like a bus round corners due to the bent axel ! it was taken to a crash repair centre and was laser aligned, the bloke told me the axel could be the only thing wrong with it he checked it all etc etc and i was gutted ! the back drivers wheel was about an inch out !
Anyway this weekend i have had the new axel fitted and new shockers! drove car for first time today to work and i can tell the difference down the motorway !! its soo much better, it doesnt wonder at high speeds and feels soo different, its like having a new car !. Its going to be aligned again on saturday to make sure it is 100% but i am so looking forward to going for a blast
