Abarth Grande Punto
Took my car into John Pease Renault in Cressing Essex for its 12k service and a new set of tyres, also gave them a long list of faults that i wanted them to look at. They where,
The Classic ECU bracket
Wiper motor unusually noisy!
One bar on heated rear window not working.
Passenger door slightly out of place at bottom.
Traction and service light on (isolated incident)
Just get a phone call from service manager who said wants to keep me car in over night as ECU bracket and new wiper motor on order! Both being replaced under warranty.
Made an adjustment to some brake sensor thingy in relation to traction light.
The other 2 probs not covered are rear screen is damaged as a result of sticker being taken off with sharp object! Not too bothered as i kinda knew this just pushing my luck!
and the passenger door is inline just toeing out slightly at the bottom, you could live with it but im just being picky! Been advised to leave as may make the hole door out of line if they start messing with it plus not covered under warranty as it is an adjustment.
Overall very happy with service, after hearing so many probs from you guys and girls re ECU cover! They where fine with it!
So any probs guys, i would recommend John Pease!
Not overpriced either, service is £201 and 4 conti contact sports fitted at £309, event mnaged to haggle over the price of tyres and shave off £47!
The only down side is i have the privilege of a 1.2 clio extreme! :dapprove: !!!!
Never mind the car was free! unlike some other stealers!
