Vibe port plug problem

  Clio 182, Astra Sri
I've got a powered vibe liteair 12" subwoofer system fitted to the Clio

It has a port plug which can create a sealed enclosure or a ported box sound, I prefer it in. Creating a sealed box sound

But it keeps coming out, even of the bass isn't that loud.

How can I secure it in properly?

It's like polystyrene so not sure how to bond it inside the port

Anyone else had this problem?

buy a sealed box.

the box should be designed to be either ported or sealed. so them saying you can just seal up the ports is not really right

I'm sure vibe have designed it fine, I just prefer the sealed sound of the box, but the plug won't stay in :(

the size will be bigger for a ported box so sticking the sub in the right sized sealled box would make it sound even better

It's a vibe designed box to suit
Both styles, best of both worlds I think

ItS this one

But in my opinion the box sounds best sealed

Just need to find a way of sealing the plug in it permanently

you can't design it to be both the box dimensions will be different for a ported and sealed.

but glue if you really must

In an ideal world your right, but those high street general sub enclosures are designed to be descent at both

vibe and decent is ihmo a no no

as you say it sounds better sealed because ported all vibe subs i've heard have been very muddy
