Video Capture

I was wondering what video capture cards you all use, i want one to record VHS and Camcorder footage to my pc with the intention of burning the films to be able to watch on a dvd player. I've seen some on fleabay but they are untried and untested makes to me, anyone used one/ recommend one to me. The twist is its for my laptop and must be a PCMCIA card.

External mpeg encoders would be better. They are more pricey but they do the encoding for you and take the load off the CPU in your pc so the performance doesn't suffer. most are USB as well. I cant recommend any tbh as I dont have one but a friend has one and swears by it.
