Yep never had a problem with Viking Cards, will be fine for a CD player.

I only use Sandisk Ultra II for photography as they seem to be pretty quick, but for normal use the Viking/Lexar cards are reliable.

They're actually made by Toshiba afaik, if you peel the labels off I think it's branded Tosh.
