Could you please elaborate???? What is gonna break on the Hill Power, the Unit on mine is top quality and looks far better than a Maxogen....IMO. The CAF may be a little fragile if not fitted with care, but the £170 saved over buying the Maxogen will easily cover replacing in the future with some Venair CAF.

i'd opt for function over looks anyday, but then again imo the maxogen has it nailed in both departments

Is there anything on paper that proves the Maxogen performs any better than a standard airbox or any other IK. I'll let the RR do the talkin when I get my Re-Map

where u getting it rolling roaded fella ? curious as im searching for one but there aint any good uns near me!
i think im going to hold out for paul dyno dynamics at rstuning
would be interesting to see how all that metal shielding effects the hillpower as one thing ive found with the maxogen is that all that lovely carbon stays nice and cool after even the hardest of runs

Had a chat with Paul at RS Tuning in Leeds, hoping to go up there once he's got the RR fiited and get a b4 and after RR with Re-Map.
When I got car it was fited with Viper. I paid a visit to Nick at Hill Power and we had a bit of a chat about the various mods on Clio's. He explained how the heat shielding on the IK is the same as Renault use on the exhaust and the importance of a good CAF. I believe these are more important than any other factor. If the Maxogen was a definite advantage I would have gone for it, but I don't think there will be much difference in it.
When you thinking of getting your re-map?
It would be good to have a RR/Re-map day. Maybe it would be worth having a word with Paul and maybe getting a thread up gauging interest. Probably would need to find out what numbers could be done in a working day...so a proper unrushed job could be done on all cars. What do you think??

i asked paul about a rolling road day and he said he would set up something with a nice cs discount when the road gets delivered
it only takes him about half and hour to sort the map out so i rekon if we get a litlle convoy of say 5-10 cars sorted and head up in the morning (when its cooler ) we could probably all get a few runs in and whoever needs maps doing can have them as well
He's hoping the RR will be in on the 15th June. 5-6 weks away. Do you think it's worth having a word with him and then get a thread going, gauging interest and say limit of 10 cars, first come first served basis with a reserve list if anyone drops out? I'm defo in for B4 & after with Re-Map, been given a price already, be nice if cheaper with RR day.
