theres a lot of hype behind the new version of windows, windows vista i was wondering what people think? i think that microsoft will use it as a way to promote there new search engine live.com which i have tryed and it is awsome, especially the image search.

Personally i wont be touching it. theres a reason for the hype, its because its such a piece of crap.

Sure, if you want to only be able to play certain movie files, and listen to only certain music files, and run only certain programs, go ahead!

Yes, I have tried it, yes I hate it.

And yes, I know people who work at microsoft who are working on the deployment of vista.

Do yourself a favour and buy a mac, vista only ripped that off anyways

If your machine isn't anything but brand new and top spec you really can't get the most out of it, it's very power hungry.
