Voicemail problem

For some reason my phone keeps telling me i have a voicemail even tho there is nothing there.

The red dot appears on the phone symbol and then on voicemail. Is there a way of clearing this? Starting to get my on tits.

This tends to happen when you loose Cellular Data (No 3g, Edge Or GPRS).
Its not telling you that you have a voicemail its telling you that Visual voicemail isnt available as it relies on the Data network!
