volvo 440 turbo conversion

ya mean the 440 turbo into a clio?
i dont kno any1 that does it but i have been told that u need the engine mounts from a r5 1.7 or 1.9 cant rember which.(i dont kno nowt bout the r5's so dont even kno if they made 1.7or1.9's lol)
thats all i know bout it, whether its true or not is anutha matter.

Hasn't DJW Dave (spelling?) on here put a turbo volvo unit into his clio? I'm sure I read a thread about it passing the MOT.

Stay away from the 440 conversion - if your on a budget drop a 5 turbo engine in - there a hell of a lot more tunable and easier to fit
