Volvo 940 TDIC Project

I bought this today. It’s not perfect, it has some rust but is still a tidy looking car for 23 years old.

Plans are to turn up the fuel, turn up the boost and make a lot of smoke. Not sure I’ll be going to the extremes I’ve gone to on the other 940 but we will see what happens.

It’s not fast but it’s a really satisfying drive for some reason.

All actuators are adjustable but whats the point when a boost controller is a million times easier to use!

The bosch pump is the same as the 306 pump so its stuff you never forget! Could even get 11mm transit internals fitted for even more craziness! Thats for when the holset gets slapped on!

Amazing how much difference you can make with boost compensator without making to much smoke

I think these D24's Pump's had a 10mm Plunger anyway Craig,
If you want serious amount of coal bolt on the pump from the DAF 45 / Leyland Roadrunner which were fitted with the cummins 6bt they were a Bosch VE and were 6 pot.

10mm plunger = ultimately how much fuel the pump can deliver
Daf 45 = 7.5 ton lorry made in Holland
6BT = Engine fitted to above
Bosch VE = Mechanical pump fitted to your engine and Daf 45's
6 Pot = 6 cylinder engine
