Nice! I've always fancied one of the W8 Passats (or the W12 Phaeton if I had a magic money tree :D lol)

Surely it gives an elise the weight distribution of a hammer, though?!

How is that going to fit in an Elise?! Surely it's too wide with the effective V-configuration?

I guess it's been selected because it's relatively short, even if it is kinda wide?

Only 272bhp tho, which is kinda pony for all the work thats involved, especially if they don't wanna screw up the handling.

Wow! Fair play for giving it a go, but that will handle like a pig with all that weight at the rear. It'll will just want to swing around like a pendulum under load.

Only 272bhp in NA form, but he's added two turbos from an F150 truck so I'd imagine it'll be a fair bit more powerful.

IIRC he talked about running 6psi of boost, not sure what that's going to mean for power.

Someone made a AMG powered Exige so this VAG lump should fit in nicely with some “adjustments”.

Great project, but that has got to be one of the worst blogs I've looked at. At first, I thought there was one page dated from 2017 and that was it?

Car engineering might be his bag - web design clearly isn't - or for the person that he hires to do it.

I saw this on Facebook a few days ago, I'll be interested to see the bodywork they plan to use to cover the entire length of a gearbox behind the rear axle. It could end up looking weird.

Yea ongoing, last update in Feb this year.

However the questions over how this will handle remain
