wales run 26/11/11

just a few pictures of me and jc172rs on a run through wales we did at the weekend, it was slightly wet and also slightly foggy at points so the pictures aint amazing but still good fun and also a little easier to pass through at an ok but safe pace with just two cars

it was a bit of a sighter for me tbh as i use the roads a lot for work but never link them together but it turned out to be a very good all round route with roads of a good condition (for the UK atleast) that linked up well throught the best parts of route with an easy ending run home down the A55 as the last strech to be able to ease it off a bit

hopefully this route will be added to a little more for when the day light hours come back as there was another 40-60 mins of good roads that could be linked up

welsh roads are some of the best in the UK so i recommend everyone to travel that way atleast once to take a drive about
the well known routes are good but if you add a few of the smaller less known roads then it adds a little extra fun to the trip due to less traffic and so on
but the only problem with wales is the weather changes too quickly lol it was sunny when we left but 30-40 mins later it was fog and rain lol

whos is quicker hmm dunno seemed pretty even but tbh the 172 is a little further a long on the mods side of things and a bit lighter (them wheels are stupidly light!) so he should have just edged it......................but he didnt

Round by capel curig / pen-y-pass iirc? Challenging road tbf. Gotta stay on the ball round there, dry stone walls etc

Yep your right but tbh them roads are nothing compared to one of the other roads we tuck IN THE FCUKING FOG which wasnt what I prepared for lol but it was all good haha
