Wanting to buy my first renaultsport clio

Hi ladies and gents hope everyone is well, I've been on here a while now lurking and reading I first joined under a different username years ago when I bought my clio dynamique s, I've had many cars since then some good some bad, anyway the question I want to ask that you probably get all the time is could I get a decent 1*2 for around 3k I've just bought the mrs a new suzuki s cross to keep her happy and that's all I have left :-( lol, I've always fancied one so decided I'm going to go for it I just need a little guidance really as to whether or not I'd get a decent one with my budget, thanks guys

Thanks pal is there any things I should look out for with high mileage etc I know belts being done is important

I wouldn't fuss too much over mileage, just make sure the car has been serviced regularly, and in general good condition, as you would any car you purpose to buy.

As said wouldn't worry too much about the mileage, find one that's been serviced properly and has had the belts done at a specialist. Then just look out for the normal things as you would with any other car.

I had £3k for a second car and bought a 182 with low miles, totally mint and with a massive history. Absolutely love it. I doubt there's a better car out there for the same money.

To be honest mate it is, I love the front ends I think with rear ph2 lights they're perfect, I'd prefer a ph1 or ph2 172 to a 182 I prefer the rear bumper just looks cleaner in my opinion of course
