Does anyone know the score with these i.e how strict they are.

If i bought a car that was less than 2 yrs old but it hadn't had the 12k service and the car had done 15k would they just say sorry m8 your warranty is invalid cos you haven't kept to the servicing intervals.

yes they can invalidate your warranty if you dont keep within the service paramaters , you are allowed 1 month past the service requirement i believe

now then i work in a skoda delarship and as far as i now it's the parts on there own that are warrantyed so it souldant matter if you are past your service interval

Like Kullycliosport says and according to the service book it should be serviced within 1 month or 1000 miles of the service interval .

Maybe not all dealerships do ?? But i would imagine if the warranty work was gonna cost alot of money they would check your service book is up to date .

touche mr billyuk .....any reason not to spend thousands on your car . though why you wouldn't want to service it when its due , i dont know ????

No , not on a computer database unless you use the dealership for your services , then they will have a complete record of everything you've been there for .

They will often ask for proof of servcng the officail rule are Renault Uk onlt paya % of the cost the more its been over the limit the less thay will pay I woulnd't worry to much.
