Washer Bottle

I'm not too sure if this is fault but I knowyou can bugger your car up with this, I put de frosting mix and water into what I think is my washer bottleon my 06 campus this morning and which to my suprise the washer bottle is below the windscreen?? I rang my parents and they told me to wait for it to defrost but to my surprise it didn't work again now on my way home I tryed to wash the window and agAin it didn't work... Am I doing something wrong, and if any1 wants to get clever I'm 18 and this is my first car :/

just wait for it to de-frost, its probably all frozen in the pipes too so your de-frosting mix wont get through to there, nuthin to worry about just sh!t weather
