washer jets don’t stop

I keep using my washer jets and for some reason they seem o stick on. The jets just keep going and going. Any body else had this problem??

Is this due to a bad connection somewhere? doesnt it need a new stalk maybe??

anybody know where i can get one if so??

the windscreen washer isnt auto, you have to pull the stick the only washer that is kinda auto is the ones that clean your xenons when you have them switched on.

More than likely to be a faulty wiper stalk, try removing it from the car and spraying it as much as possible with electrical contact cleaner, then operate it a fair bit to get the cleaner into the switch.

Clean off all the excess cleaner with a bit of rag, then refit and test.

It might work it might not worth a go to save you some cash

Nice easy job really, just have to be careful not to lose any bits cos can get a bit fiddly.
Take the stalk off, then you have to take it apart and clean the contacts inside, youll see a load of grease around them but they will be dry, just move some of the grease onto the now clean contacts and, roberts your fathers brother, Sorted.
