Washer Pump fix guide

After having some problems with one of the two and payed around 60 quid to change it I finally sort out what was wrong with it.
Basically you could hear it whine but no liquid came out..
To fix the damn thing you have to remove it and take it apart
If someone experiences problems ring a bell in here and I'll detail the process for you as I'm quite lazy right now

i had the same problem and fixed it
using it for almost 2 years and hav no problem
if you hear the sound of the washer but no water comes
first take of the washer out
as in the picture you see there is 2 exits ( 1 of white 1 of black)
force them with a tool apart and open there
inside of it you will find a small cylinder and the 2 side of it made of soft plastic
then clean it and press the plastics both side
the cylinder is going left and right while working and if it is stays constant water doesnt come.
after that put together the washer jet and test it
if will work

in my case cleaning wasn't the issue, everything was super clean out there, the trick is to slice about 0,5 mm at each end of the rubber cylinder, this way it will move side to side freely somehow.. it worked 2 times already

maybe you can apply a little bit oil
to that cylinder
but also if you press each side of it it works

worked for me - except I got a bit carried away with the cutting and now I get a squirt of water out the back when I activate the front washer not complaining mind cheaper than a Renault replacement.

If the motor makes no whirring noise anymore can I assume my motor is Kapput?

maybe but before buying a new one make sure the motor is dead!

Mine was just a blocked pipe lol, unplugged it and blew through it. :dead:
