bad idea? It's spitting a little bit outside and I really need to and want to clean my car cos it's a mess. Does the rain make washing the car a pointless exercise? I suppose the only thing it will stop me doing is polishing and waxing
i do it, love it, ge teh snadles n shorts on and out i go, i am known in my village for being the cleaning freak, 7am before work a nice wash down. rain is good, less hose pipe needed, and ti saves you from having to dry it, rain water dries without leaving marks if you have a good undercoat
people in my village must think im crazy too, out in the rain, wind, sleet, snow etc, usually in shorts, sandles and t-shirt as above. cant beat it! but you get bloody cold tho! lol
i wash my car light or dark, hot or cold, wet or dry...lol
wash it outside with the jetwash...and move it into its garage to dry off and detail if your good at washing a car...you should still be good at it in poor light IMHO
used to have chromes on my old saxo VTR (yep..i admit it) lol...but it was a cover car so they were needed back then...and i would see me getting home at 1am on a decembers frosty night..and giving them a hose and sponge before putting it in the garage salt + chrome = wrecked !!
