This is a wind up, hes not really going to wash the car. Theres been nothing on the news about hell freezing over or flying pigs.

Funny thing is, other than your wheels being filthy it actually looks clean. Silver is at least good for one thing, hiding the dirt. ;)

Get some children to wash it, very small hands you see, they can get the flies out of the grill.

Ive always used Mer also. I still use it to get hard to remove flies, but I waxed the car with Zymol last time. That was a couple of months back and its still looking good after a wash with Zymol shampoo.

You think mer smells good. Check out Zymol, it smells of coconut and banana. Leaves you smelling like a big poof, so its perfect for dogmaul. ;)

get an old bath towel, soak it in warm water, and lay it on the front of your car and leave it on the bugs for like 15 mins, then take the towel off and give it a slight rub over and all the bugs will come off.

they stick cos they dry out, if u make em wet again with the towel they will become soft and pull off dead easy

more worrying is that tip really does work

still need a bit of elboy grease though

oh and they also stick because you kill them at 50+mph and they dont often bounce off

Use a power washer:devilish:

I got some zymol cleaner wax - not sure I like it at all (part from the smell..mmmmmm)

I have followed the instructions and I get a very streaky finish, that no amount of rubbing gets rid off. Perhaps it is because its red metalic ??

Anyone got any zymol tips ?

I got a really streaky finish too. I left the car for a few hours after waxing then spayed a fine mist of water over the car and buffed it off with a micro fibre cloth. My car looked fantastic after that.

Mine is Monaco Blue so it looked even worse when it was streaked.

Halfords Bug & Tar remover works a treat!!
I had loads of bugs on mine for a month or so, left baking in the sunshine here whilst I was on holiday.....got them off no problem....not much elbow grease required either!! :D

yup one good thing about the bugs - they hide those nasty white stonechips!
