You'd need to budget on an engine swap really. Either that or a full rebuild (which will cost more)

Its probably £6000 to sell once its running properly so will make a very cheap wagon!

I filled a diesel engine with water once during flash flooding, turned over but wouldn't start.

Turned out it needed a new engine as it was uneconomical to fix, with labour my workplace got a bill of around £3.5k :eek:

I want this but not 100% sure on how much would need doing.

Take the head off clean up check everything new head gasket and intake gasket? Full service etc.

I suppose some rods could be bent too. Would you avoid? Not as a money maker but I'd keep it!

u wont b getting that cheap, its already on £1k+, a new engine alone would cost £2k

this would b a better buy;

The car you linked is listed as also needing a new bootlid and a new boot floor? Bonnet damage, two bumpers.

Straight car, new engine

or

Car full of filler original engine...
