Water in wheel well?

When I bought the car there was a large puddle of water in the wheel well.

Dried it all up, washed it etc and it was all good.

After the heavy weather though a bit more appeared?? Where is this likely to come from?

All the seals look fine, the boot liner isn't wet or anything and I can't see any holes in the floor lol!

From behind the light cluster is my bet, the foam seal may have gone.

Yeh happened in both of my clios

they may have missed a spot when they re-welded the rear end back on it

Check under your back seat as well . My 172 used to get it in both the wheel well and under the back seat .

I heard it was from the rubber grommets in the tailgate . I was gonna fix it but sold it before i got the chance to .

Take em out , silicone sealant in the holes then pop the grommets back in but leave the hatch open until the sealant has gone off .

I also heard it can come in through the seal on the back window . Could be from numerous places tbh . Water has a way of finding it's way into alot of places , not necessarily from the most obvious places .
