Water marks

  Renaultsport 220T
Re-washed, dried with Megs Last Touch and a MF :)
Thought all was going good until the street lights came on - you can still see the dam things

Buffer required to get these out completely?

What sort of water do you have down ur way Trev? Acid based?

not read the entire thread so i may be off the mark here, but is it simply not a case of you have waxed the car, its rained so its beaded nice and tight, dust from the air has been in the rain, sun has come out and dried up all the rain and left all the dust/grit etc

its part of having a waxed car IMO, unloved cars look fine after the rain then sun combo, waxed ones end up covered in dust/rain spots

My stubborn marks are left after a wash then sun came out - car had already been clayed few days before

Shampoo used was Megs NXT then rinsed off with bare hose-end if it makes any difference

aha, knew i should have read the whole thing lol

any pics of the marks, strange they have not come out after a wash

did you machine the car after the claying ?

i think i need to read this thread properly.......

Yeah I clayed most of it to get the marks off.
Sun was out today so I wiped over it with a damp MF and they seem to have gone now

Time for a good buffing when I get a few dings took out of my doors :)

I'd hope so =D.

Theres no way watermarks (i.e. the residue left when hard water evaporates) could etch your clearkote.

Glad you got it sorted!
