Water pump Help needed

I'm getting my Aux/cambelt at a renault garage in Edinburgh, booked in for 3 weeks guess what they didn't have in stock(Cambelt, Absolute tools), so instead of doing yesterday they're doing it today, anyway they said my Water pump was damaged and would need replaced, What I need to know is how much extra labour is involved in replacing the water pump if they've got the Cambelt off, as they want to charge me £180 for it and if they're charging me for labour that they would have done anyway I am going to kick off big style at them. Especially after not having the parts in or a courtesy car and generally being useless

but is any of the labour involved the same as it would for the cam belt.

Yes removing the cambelt etc to get to the water pump, with all the stuff they'll have taken off anyway it'll be a ten minute job to change the water pump with a bit more to drain/fill and bleed the coolant system.

Not much labour at all really, the most time is taken with filling/bleeding the system

Cheers for that, the warranty company seem to footing the bill. Total rip off so hopefully they'll take the brunt, £195 it came to in the end £65 labour and the rest on parts and coolant and bloody VAT
