Water Sprayers Stopped working

hi all
just doing my mate a favour,

hes got a mk2 ph1 clio (T reg) and all of a sudden his sprayers stopped working, both front and rear, you can hear the pump working but nothing else any ideas?

He's checked there's water in it?

Well you didn't say so

The other option is to have a poke about. Can he/you see any damaged pipework. Are all the jets clear of blockages?

I'm not sure on a T reg clio but I know the newer Mk2's use same pump front and rear.
