Ways to lock the boot??

Are there any other ways to lock the boot other than the key fob??? Can it be done by the key?? Sorry if this is a real stupid question.

The fob locks the whole car, whats wrong with that?

Boot solenoid ?

Press the button that locks all the doors on the centre console? But press it with the last door open. If you press it and open a door it unlocks them all.

Sounds like boot solenoid is gone...

Take the boot plannel of, one torx screw then pops off then you can unbold the solenoid...

Buy a new solenoid just to be safe lol

this just happened to me, do i just need to put some wd40 on? im 17 and un experienced "/ please lads, HELP

Someone on here did wd-40 it and it worked. If not a new solenoid's needed.
