Website Gallery software

Can anyone recommend any website gallery software that's free?

I need to whack up a lod of images so rather than jsut sticking them in a dir I thought I'd set some kind of gallery up.

Seen a few php almost forum like things that look cool, but does anyone here use anything?

if you have photoshop cs or above it can make them for you really easily!:
file - automate - web photo gallery
and you can pick your look and style.
otherwise try http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/ for a nice flash gallery

gallery.sourceforge.net is the best imo, some of the new AJAX ones are pretty sweet but lack the power of Gallery V2.0
