Weird noise under the bonnet

it only happens from a standing start when i put my foot down theres a shudder under the engine the wheel doesnt shake or anything just a weird noise. i considered the ABS kicking in but have never recognised the ABs light flashing at all - and with all this bad weather i know it works haha

Possibly worn or loose gearbox/engine mounts. When you say foot down- hard acceleration?

yeah foot to the floor ... can do it in any other gear no noise just from a standing start
