weird noises coming from engine bay

there is a whinin noise coming from my engine bay when i move the key to the 2nd position, it sounds like its coming from the throttle body, but i cant tell for sure, it might also be doing it when the engine is running but its hard to tell above the noise of the actual engine..


also it sounds as if motors in the headlights are adjusting every so often from the near side to the off side and back again....how can i stop this, cus i dont think its meant to be doin that

anyone know what these things are??

The injectors? Does the whirring come on briefly then stop, or just continue whilst in the 2nd position?
