Weird R.A.I.D Issues

Hello people,

Now this problem is now starting to drive me mad a tiny bit.

I've got a weird problem which I've only ever heard of one other Clio doing the same. It was a Cup as well (not sure if that is significant or not). (The other person is on the forum as well).

So, I'll be driving along as normal, I'll have to brake, and my doors will unlock, I'll carry on driving again, they will lock again. Sometimes I'll just be driving and they will keep unlocking and locking and every now and again i'll get that little beep that you get when you press the R.A.I.D down for a few seconds.

It seems to be the brake pedal is setting the R.A.I.D off more then anything else, but it sometimes it does it with indicators or windscreen wipers or just randomly on its own. But its also intermittant. It doesn't do it every time I drive.

I had this problem in the summer when we had a few really hot weeks, when it cooled down a little it stopped, now its starting to do it in the cold as well.

Anyway, I dont think anyone is going to be able to solve this one for me but if anyone has any ideas why its doing it it would be great as each time it goes to the garage for diagnostic it wont do it.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Possibly a UCH fault if a variety of things are causing it. Weird faults like that usally end up in that direction.

UCH = Universal Control Harness

Basically its a module that controls all the auxillary electrical equipment, lights, central locking, immobiliser, wipers stuff like that. When they go wrong they cause all sorts of weird faults like this, not saying thats what it is mind its just something to look at seeing as its the only common thing to them all really.
