weird stereo wiring

Hi lads, got a little clio last night as a run around, its a mk2 1.2 however i've noticed the stereo only comes on when the headlights are switched on pmsl.

I'm, just wondering if any can shed a little light on the problem? am i right in thinking its a grounding problem?.

Also, i've noticed it goes off when i press the rear heated screen button.

Could the stereo be wired to the headlight power for some reason , im guessing when you turn switch the headlights on it gives the lights 12v which also gives the stereo 12v id check the wiring
