welding exhaust

Car  FF Racing Blue 182
Hi guys....

Quick question on the exhaust and welding. I have a scorpion srn019 and it's starting to blow where section after the cat meets the back box. The garage is going to weld it today and are saying it might last a month.

I've replaced the rear hangers with escorts ones from Halfords and they fit quite nicely. If the weld isn't going to last that long what is another alternative fix.

I hope it's not a new exhaust pfft

Cheers

You're talking about the olive joint??
You can cut the joint off, fit a sleeve and use a normal crush type joint you know?

Scorpion have a lifetime warranty, BUT only for the original purchaser of the exhaust.
Find your receipt and use that to get a new mid section. If you dont have one then get creative with a printed ebay receipt.

Or buy the unsilenced mid section for £75 from Scorpion.

Thanks for the replies guys.

It's where it joins the back box above the rear beam. Is welding it really only going to last a month or so?

Picked it up and it's really quiet compared to what it was. I'll see how long it lasts now.
