Well, i had my clio serviced today, and as usual the the plate that's under the engine was full of oil and crap, so is the oil pan etc, oil from the allways leaking gearbox, nothinng major though, just normal leakage.
Anyways my mechanic cleans it all up nicely, then goes and gets a plastic tray to fit under the gearbox.
I was astonished to say the least, i didn't know renault makes those plastic trays specificly for their leaking gearboxes.
The thing nicely fits under the gearbox where the gear linkage goes in and clips on the nuts of the gearbox.
I say well done renault, they can't be bothered making decent seals but they sure as hell can make a nice fitting tray.
Whoopie no more oil stains in my garage.
So does anyone else has this 2£ marvell fitted?
