well folks!!

right, iv just purchased a 99 clio 1.2 RN, and im lookin 2 lower the byatch!!

im thinkin of 17" alloys on 60mm lowering springs, wud this lower it enuff 2 get the alloys under the archs?

any help wud b appreachieted <sp>

u will have a hard time fittin 17s without the rear arch lip ebign cut away especially with a 60mm drop

the max tyre width u can have is 195 without ne scrubbin and thats normal 16"

also u will need to take out the arch linings

Al

60mm is fine but will wear the shocks quicker

if u want springs go to either http://www.larkspeed.comwww.larkspeed.com or http://www.k-tecracing.comwww.k-tecracing.com

the 17s will smash into the lower part of the arch (speakin from experience) only a few companies i know will cut away the lip on the rears but u need to treat it with sealant so it dont rust!

where u from?

im over the sea from ya m8!! norn ireland!!

i was gona go 17s and coilovers, but as im a jobless student, that was put on hold 4 a year!!

so iv optioned 4 17s on a 60mm drop!

is it a big job gettin the archs rolled m8?

the rears cant be rolled due to there dodgey shape, best bet is to get out a grinder and grind the innner lip on the arch then use sealant to protect it then u should be fine

no other mods as yet!!

iv just been priceing! colour codeing, and tints for £220!!

next will b alloys and suspension!!

then sounds!!
