Well it wasn't the coil pack :(



  No more clio's for me!
Bought a new one from renault this morning and fitted...but no change!

The car is in the garage now :(

Just don't know what it can be!! :dead:

have u had it on clip yet? only cost 25 quid at my local renault independent specialist and could tell you what the problem is

Had the AA out last night and there was no reported ECU faults...also did the little test with the on board computer button (pressing the toggle button in and turning on ignition), but that returned nothing as well :S

Renault couldn't get in until Thursday and i need it done ASAP, its eating into this years holiday. lol

Hence its in at the local garage...which are excellent chaps :)

Heard back from the garage at 6ish...it seems to be the leads thats causing the issue...they are arching across the Inlet mani. Damn it!!! I bloddy checked them as well, i obviously couldn't see it! lol...Well i hope thats the last of the issue...and its just the leads causing a prob! Need not have bought a coil pack, but oh well eh! I now have two! lol

Fingers crossed for tomorrow...miss driving my car! :D
