Werkstat Acrylic Kit - Anyone used it?

Eh up,
I'm after a good glass/wet look finish on my Titanium 172. After reading loads of nerd shiz on DW it seems to be that most people recommend the Werkstat Acrylic Kit for silver cars. Just wondering if anyone one here has any experience of it?

Only place I've found that sells it is http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/werkstat-acrylic-kit-protect.html. Can't see it on i4D or CYC.

unsure on the rest of the kit thought, what does it contain?

Uber cheers Jamie I'll go give it a read and probably be even more undecided than I was when I started this thread lol.

Kit contains a final finishing polish, sealant and QD I think.

God cleaning cars was so much easier when I was a kid washing my Dad's Cav with a dirty sponge being dipped in soapy fairy liquid water PMSL.

What you need to understand mate is that, what one person likes or prefers isn't always available/applicable or work for you.

Try stuff, find stuff that works for you and then resist changing for change sake.

I'm pretty settled on what i use, recently changed polishes but thats the only change i've made in a few yrs.

on a serious note, ali is right symon, i havent changed in years, but need to get rid of old habbits such as EGP instead of the jeffs sealent/chemical guys stuff!

Na...I'm no detailing whizz...I refuse to listen to the advice on detailing world...If i did i'd be broke and as confused as Symon...

Alan's your boy to spk to, alot of product knowledge, but i'm sure he'll back up what iv'e said seein as he suggested a number of the products i use today.

lol I've used AG, near enough the full range, for years so fear not I don't change for changing sake...I fear change TBQFH lol. I just can't get the result I'm after on Titanium and was originally considering AG HD but then decided to read up and get expert advice. Now I have a headache lol.

Ali is that CG Blitz stuff just a 16oz spray bottle? Body Sheild or something? Actually

thats it mate. I use it after each wash usually...Dry. Walk round the car spraying blitz on from about 1ft awy. Wipe on and as you get back to the point you started wiping on...you wipe off! lol. Done in under 10mins.

I have both and Jeffs will kick BLitz into bonny Shetland Isles in terms of Durability. THe carnauba Jeffs is good for looks and decent durbaility. BLitz is a quick product and does look good but doesnt last.

My Titanium Vee showed no difference between waxes/sealants , so i wouldnt lose any sleep over it tbh.

Detailing World is very fashionable, waxes/sealants go in and out. I dont use it anymroe as i found i was spending loads on crap products.

i use Jeff's and dodo wax, when u get into detailing you will accumulate pots of stuff!!!
