this might sound like a strange one but after ive washed my car, or its been outside in the rain for a bit...........whenever i then drive it and come to brake, my brakes are VERY good......shouldnt they be a bit crap until they dry ?.....
Is your car kitted? It might be that the brakes have no cooling normally and so the water helps. If youve ever watched truck racing youll notice the brakes are water cooled.
i might be wrong here, but isnt it surface rust on the discs...
when you wash your car, or its been raining, you sometimes get a small amount of surface rust on the discs develop (noticed more so on older discs). When you then take the car out, braking then starts to remove the surface rust, but the brakes feel really good. Until the rust has gone
