wet sanding

I wana wet sand the defcts of my headlights any tips and what not to do etc
Iv got a pc and was gona use megs 203s to polish out

Tape the surrounding panels
Clay before
then progressively work to the desired finish

Pretty straight forward mate. I used a 1200 grit wet and dry but some people start lower and work their way through the grades.

Would you use a DA or a Rotary on headlights?

Wouldn't make any diff mate. Either or. Could do it by hand tbf

Id use rotary for the extra grunt, wet sand it down and then remove, dunno what polish your using but wetsanding marks dont take long to remove using M105 and M205.

Thanx guy iv baught sum 3000 and 2500 grit so will be giving it a got when it turnes up

Just make sure theres no grit about as this will scratch the lens
