A diesl would be quicker round a track standard vs standard.
Dont forget a dci makes more power than claimed
65dci ~70hp
80dci~85hp
There not much in it in a stright line the 1.2 16V is slightly quicker but you have to realy get the revs up and hammer it on the motorway. Thats agianst my 65d ci a 80 is a bit quicker so should sliglty be quicker.

I have beaten a few 1.2 16v from the lights in my dci80 with out too much trouble, and the 1.2 16v needs to be thrashed to get any performance out of it, whereas in a dci you just squeeze the throttle at 2,000 rpm and say goodbye to the 1.2.
