What 172 lowering kit should i get

As above but must be shox and springs and i cannot really afford coil overs

Also should i go -40 or -60mm? Am running on 17s!

Just get a set of Eibachs, about £120. 60mm is way too low for a 172 BTW, about 30 or 40 is all you want.

if you want a noticable amount of lowering then the k-tec ones are ok. they say they lower 30mm but the springs are actually apex ones and on there site it says they lower up to a 40mm drop using there springs.

I need the dampers as well as springs Mike, well i think its my dampers thatsf**ked lol

Should i get the GAZ coil overs or either the Koni/Eibach dampersand springs or is it a silly question?

You could always get standard dampers to go with Eibachs or k-tec springs - dirt cheap and work fine!

I would recommend the Eibachs if are lowering for handling as opposed to looks as it is not a noticeable drop but it makes all the difference.
