What a difference a filter makes

Car was into renno for the 33rd time last week so I had to put the standard filter back on. What with christmas looming I havent had chance to get it back on until today. Im not saying you get huge power gains ( I have a Piper X open IK) but the cars power delivery is just transformed.

You put your foot on the throttle and the response is much improved and it seems to rev easier through the powerband. Throttlke blips for downchanging seem to be much easier too. And than theres the noise

Anyone who has a 172 and hasnt had a filter on it yet. DO IT!

Mine has been off since i had it in the garage and still havent had the chance to put it back on. Might put it back on tomorrow but ill see!
