what a mess !!!!

OK brought 2 doors for my valver from infinicar, but they hadnt been taken off using the threaded bolts, instead cut so the bolt and part of the hinge is on it. The star shaped screw bolt heads are damaged so i cant get the right screwdriver bit to sit it comfortably.

Hence pulling out the angle grinder to try and grind the mofos off. After several hours of messing around and a number of metal splinters (ouch) i gave up.

This is so annoying! Do you reckon i could take it to renault to sort. I only want the bolts out so i can fit the doors myself, will they help me out?

Ive heard they can be a little arrogant.

Im surprised at this as we always take everything off by removal of nuts/bolts, never cutting anything.

I can only assume these doors were a) not removed by me or b) were part of a part purchase we made a while back involving some panels.

If you get really stuck, do let me know.

no the doors were not taken off using the bolts! this is causing me a lot of bother but hopefully I can get a garage to sort this over the weekend. If not i dont no what the solution is because it would be to far for me to travel to bring the doors back to you.
