am going to try that mate can you say what u done in a little more detail
before you do this first make sure your alternator is not knackered by getting a garage to test it or use a tester yourself so you’re not wasting your time.
If it’s fine then follow this.
Ye here’s how it’s done.
First off all you should probably have some goggles on, some gloves, boots and safety clothes on, but that up to you, do it naked if you want.
first off all you need to determine whether or not you have the battery which you can revive, if you look at the picture at the bottom you can see on the top off the battery there are 6 red plugs, if your battery has some plugs similar to this you can try to revive it using this method
first off all disconnect your battery and remove it from your car, you will need to undo the bolt at the bottom which is holding it in place.
then make sure you have some s**tty clothes and shoes on because if you get any off the acid on you it will burn your clothes and shoes then your skin and that will probably hurt
remove all off the plugs and empty all of the acid away, make sure you tip it away safely as it will burn anything it touches e.g. your car tyres. you should probably take it to some chemical disposal place but the garden works fine (kills your grass though, my mum was not happy lol)
once all off the acid is away get the hosepipe out and fill the battery with normal water and then once it is full shake the water out and you will see all the bits come out (these cause the battery to self discharge as they short the cells out), keep repeating this filling and emptying until there is just clear water coming out.
Then pop off to the supermarket or car shop to get some de ionised water (it's called something else to, but I can’t remember what, if you ask someone will tell you) it will be in the car section or in the laundry section because your meant to use this type of water in your iron. I got about 4 litres I think this was enough, it’s not expensive any way
then fill your battery up with the DE-IONISED WATER DO NOT FILL IT WITH NORMAL WATER OR YOU WILL BE IN TROUBLE. Fill it up so that the water level just comes above the cells you can see inside. your battery may have a mark on it.
then place the caps back on but don’t screw them in yet as they need to be lose for when its charging
then put the battery on charge, if your charger has a trickle charge use this as a fast charge is no good. Put it on the trickle or slow charge until it is 100%. If the battery does not start to charge after 24 hours (it should normally be fully charged by now) check the fuse in the charger itself and in the plug.
if both of these are all right try it on a fast charge to try and wake your battery up
when your battery is on charge try and put it out off the house as fumes are given off when its charging. It may bubble and froth when it’s charging but this is normal. Unless it’s really bad lol.
the once its 100% charged clean the terminals and connectors with some wire wool or something similar then put your battery back in, fasten it down then reconnect it.
You should then have a great battery.
Mine was completely dead and this revived it, my car now starts fine in below 0 conditions with everything turned on.
If it is still poop its completely knackered and you need a new one or something in your car is draining it while its stood, e.g. short, sub, amp, immobiliser.
You will find out if this is the case when your buy a new battery and this does the same.
