What Battery?

my batterys screwed, when you use the electric windows or blowers the lights dim when the engines off etc and the car sounds slow and like its dying when the starter motors turning over.

im planning on adding a 4 channel amp and sub with components soon so going to upgrade the battery before this.

all im wondering is should i just get another standard renault battery or get somthing a bit better, my mate told me to get an Optima RedTop but i think at £150 or what ever that is total overkill. are the standard batterys ok with upgraded ICE?

couple of questions..
how much do they cost from renault? how much would renault charge for fitting?
am i better getting a battery from a place like quickfit or budget or other tyre/battery/exhaust places and do they charge for fitting?

Get a Bosch silver (£45 for clio DCI) bit bigger but your alt will cope and a 3 year warranty ... only get 2 yrs with optima batterys

a Bosch silver isnt a certain size of battery, its a range of batteries and it could be smaller than what hes got

what you want is the larger 065 type battery if it will fit in the tray, think it will, whats normally fitted is the very common 063 size battery

i think ive got a 65 its bigger than my old ren one , motorworld sell them brun? i was palmed off with a excide one when i went in. do you know any of the guys at motor world atherton?
